A gang member, Porter Bush, 44, was charged with child sex trafficking after police said he trafficked a 14-year old girl from February through June 2018.
Authorities said they found the girl near the Bissonnet Track – an area near the Southwest Freeway and Bissonnet where traffickers place minor and adult victims for commercial sex.
According to the police, they conducted a traffic stop and found the girl inside Porter Bush’s vehicle. Meanwhile, Bush pretends to be the girl’s stepfather, according to court documents.
If convicted, Bush could face between 10 years to life in prison as well as a maximum $250,000 fine.
